The Mortgage Foreclosure Section of the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County is looking for a judicial law clerk. This is a full-time position with full benefits. Applicants should be Illinois-licensed attorneys. The job entails detailed review of voluminous mortgage foreclosure documents for accuracy and completeness, analysis of various legal issues, and assistance with various day-to-day projects and tasks. Excellent writing and organizational skills are necessary and some knowledge or experience with the Illinois Mortgage Foreclosure Law (Article XV) is a plus.
