City of Chicago Department of Law – Assistant Corporation Counsel Supervisor

The City of Chicago Law Department is seeking an attorney for the position of Assistant Corporation Counsel Supervisor in the Collections, Ownership and Administrative Litigation (COAL) Division to supervise the Bankruptcy Unit and act as the City’s primary bankruptcy attorney under all chapters of the Bankruptcy Code. The attorney will be expected to both supervise and handle all phases of bankruptcy litigation.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an ABA-accredited law school with a Juris Doctorate in or before 2013, and admission to the Illinois Bar (or eligible for admission on motion to the Illinois Bar pursuant to Illinois Supreme Court Rule 705).
