Groupon’s Senior Counsel, Corporate & Securities will be part of our Corporate & Commercial group and will report directly to the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Corporate & Securities. This person will collaborate and work cross-functionally across multiple departments on matters relating to SEC reporting and compliance, corporate governance and global subsidiary management.
Qualifications/Requirements/Qualities
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience at a major law firm, with significant securities experience required and a strong emphasis on SEC compliance and corporate governance
- Team player with the ability to proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently to drive projects to completion
- Flexible, self-starting and hard-working
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and changing environment, with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Desire to grow and be in a role that develops over time
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
