Immigration Attorney

Cipolla Law Group is seeking an experienced and talented attorney to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is a highly skilled immigration lawyer with a proven track record of success in removal proceeding and court related immigration cases. The ideal candidate will be an experienced litigator who is a highly skilled Crimmigration attorney.

Responsibilities

• Create strategies and guide clients to provide necessary information and documentation to build strong cases.
• Research complex immigration issues, apply informed analysis and develop creative and appropriate solutions to clients’ cases.
• Prepare and/or attend immigration court proceedings i.e. Master Calendar hearing, Individual hearing, Motion to reopen, defensive asylum etc…
• Prepare, draft and review briefs, motions, and other pleadings.
  Conduct legal research.
• Provide case updates to clients.
• Instruct and conduct weekly meeting with support staff within your team.
• Must have excellent work ethics and be responsible for own caseload.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years solid experience working on removal proceeding and other court related immigration cases.
• Experience working with Federal Court litigation,waivers and asylum matters.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent legal research skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Work independently and as a team member.
• A second language is a plus.
