Nyhan, Bambrick, Kinzie, & Lowry seeks attorneys experienced in workers’ compensation defense to join our successful firm, which was ranked a Best Place to Work by Crain’s Chicago Business for 2024 & 2025 based on feedback from our team members. Salary is competitive based on experience.

Essential job functions include:

–  Illinois licensed attorney with 3+ years of workers’ compensation defense experience

–  Ability to interpret laws, rules, and regulations as they pertain to the Workers’ Compensation practice

–  Ability to review medical evidence and medical records

–  Ability to analyze the probable outcoming of cases, gather evidence including interviewing clients, depose relevant parties, and attend hearings/trials

–  Ability to communicate regularly with claims representatives and other relevant parties

–  Ability to present cases to arbitrators and draft legal documents including opinion letters and settlement contracts

–  Ability to handle a full caseload

Our desired candidate must be organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills; curious and resourceful with the ability to investigate accidents and other inconsistencies; and prepared to handle a fast-paced practice.
