The Hispanic Lawyers Scholarship Fund of Illinois (HLSF) and Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois (HLAI) have collaborated over decades, sharing resources and fostering a sense of community. Both organizations work tirelessly to advance their missions, which benefit not only the legal and Latino communities but also the community-at-large. It is with this backdrop in mind that, each year, HLAI presents two awards at the HLSF Scholarship Reception honoring the exceptional efforts of its members. While the pandemic prevented an in-person reception this year, HLAI extends its appreciation to HLSF for this ongoing collaboration to recognize those deserving members of the bar.
HLAI is pleased to announce the selection of Barbara N. Flores for the President’s Award and Korina Sanchez for the Community Service Award, and congratulates both recipients on their selection for these prestigious awards.
