The law firm of Andreou & Casson, Ltd. is seeking a 2L or 3L Law Clerk for May 2023 hire

Andreou & Casson, Ltd is a boutique litigation firm in Chicago, Illinois handling litigation matters in personal injury, commercial, employment, constitutional, election and related fields.  Seeking a 2L or 3L law clerk with potential for permanent hire post-bar exam.

At Andreou & Casson, Ltd. we seek to provide students exposure to all phases of the litigation sciences with the idea that the candidate will gain experience and understanding of litigation in the Federal and State Courts and the several states in which we are engaged.

We strive to assist the development of strong written and oral communication skills, critical thinking, case and issue development and the technical skills for successful litigation outcomes. Our interns gain first-hand knowledge by doing the work of a litigator under the supervision of a practicing attorney with jury trial experience ranging from war crimes to contract disputes in both state and federal venues.

Law Clerk Job Responsibilities

·         Perform legal research and analysis.

·         Preparation of legal documents, including Motions, Discovery and other court documents.

·         Perform trial preparation, jury work and trial motion practice.

Candidates will be trained and learn legal filing systems and other guidelines specific to our firm. Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited law school. This position has flexibility with scheduling, but the candidate must commit to a minimum of 20 hours a week part-time hourly, and this is an in-office position.
